Welcome back and take great care of your better half! Give her our love and best wishes. Hopefully she continues to recover on a steady path.
The bowel surgery has a lot of danger points as you know all too well.
This is just stereo stuff. Wires, gear and music but nothing affecting anyone’s health or longevity.
It’s kind of like arguing over how wet water is. :exploding_head:

I noticed you left “mental health” off your list of things this “stereo stuff” has nothing to do with.

I am probably a certifiable nutjob but have never been formally tested

Yes I would!! :money_mouth_face:

I just received the bill for “lab work” aka, “testing!” Skip the tests!

Makes me feel like a kid again. I guess I never really “grew up” but just got older.
Thanks for the kudos
That video is what I will be watching in the morning.

In a funny bit of irony I have the same cover over the well at my lake lot. I’ll post a picture tomorrow. If I can remember.

Ha, this is at our "micro-farm (5.25 acres). We are preparing for Armageddon and want to help take care of as many as possible (40-gallons a minute) of really great water. Sue and I put a cover over the well and pressure tank to keep it out of the sun. Now we plant to enclose it. It’s on the list…

Is that insulation too or just UV protection? The irrigation well tank on our equine property had a freeze. The previous owner replaced day of closing. I am looking for a solution before next TX freeze. Apparently expecting ranch hand to start a heater is not the solution. $1400 later new tank his second one. That’s audio cable money wasted.

Sorry to hear that Bob. I wish your wife a speedy recovery.
All the best to you both.

These work good in a wellhouse application. It is thermostatically controlled and has a very long life.

Great idea. I will install one of these in the pump house along with another insulated box to cover that. The well house is about 15 by 20 and not insulated pole building. Perhaps a small Costco shed over it. Better than draining tank in winter to save from paying city water for horse waters. The guy has both sets of taps set up throughout the property.

Thank you for the tip! Looks like Darrell and I will both being buying one of these heaters. I’m new to this farming stuff and didn’t even think about protecting the pressure tank from freezing. It gets down below freezing here in the FL panhandle but it is uncommon for it to stay there for more than just a few hours. I have a smaller well and pressure tank at my home that is mostly exposed. Very lucky so far. Seeing Darrell’s burst tank is a wake up call!! Spring now so I have a few months to prepare.
