Black Friday special for StellarGold DAC last year?

Was anyone aware if there was a black friday deal on the refurbished StellarGold dac for $1750 last year? Similar to this one this year StellarGold DAC - Factory Certified – PS Audio ?

I bought a refurbished one this may that was purchased last november around thanksgiving for a whopping $2650. Feel kind of robbed when I saw their black friday offer this year. Wanted to know if the same deal was offered last year when the seller got my unit. Asked PS employee but obviously they can’t tell me the price he paid for security reason.

I don’t think there was an advertised sale, I only found emails on the Stellar Strata (integrated) and a closeout of the BHK Pre. You aren’t the first one to pay a lot then see the same piece for much cheaper a short time later. It’s called market timing …:hushed_face:

Thanks for checking @pmotz. Yes agree on the marketing timing, unfortunate regardless. Though it made me feel better knowing if the seller didn’t pay 1750 and sold me for 2650 in that case haha
