thanks for all help!
I had some days with too much work, so I have been "off", nevertheless I have good news, for some unknown reasons it works again! (?) I hope that the Bridge II will continue to work :)
Regards
Juan
Hi Juan,
This is fantastic news!
I suspect that you likely have active anti virus software or a firewall that is potentially turning on your Bridge II’s connection.
If this happens again please reach out to me either in the forum or directly and I’ll get to work to assist you.
Just got my Bridge II back from Boulder and it is much happier now (as am I). Not sure what I did to it (I’m still blaming that X9.3 solar flare), nor do I know what PS Audio did to resurrect it, but the DS sees it now. Thanks to Jeremy for taking care of me. Now I’m torn between adding more SACDs to the PSA playlist library and playing all the new FLACs I’ve acquired while the Bridge was out of commission.
This worked for me (finally). I have a Fortigate firewall, and maybe it was blocking the update.
A funny thing, though, is that after the update is done (and MQA is working now), when I use the button to check the BridgeII firmware, it gives me the option to “upgrade” to version 3.0.3 (from 3.3.3), which is what was there before. So, I’m following the advice of others, and I’m not gonna touch anything now!.
