Cassette Player to Analog Inputs

Has anyone hooked up a cassette player using the Analog inputs on the Sprout? I’ve been thinking about purchasing the Sprout but I wanted to know if anyone uses the analog inputs for cassette playing and how it sounds?

Two aspects regarding hooking up a cassette deck to the Sprout:

  1. You will need to use an adaptor (dual-RCA to single 3.5mm stereo jack) for playback (cassette output to Sprout analog input)
  2. There is no “Tape Out” facility on the Sprout for recording from Sprout

Apart from that, you should have no problems as the 3.5mm analog input should support a standard line level analog input.
