Connect Shanling ET3 to Perfectwave DAC by I2S(HDMI)

Hi friends,

Work prefect on both coaxial and AES/EBU between ET3/Perfectwave(dac)

, but
failed by I2S(HDMI), any suggestion to solve this problem?

Hi there,
I connect my ET3 via i2s HDMI to my Directstream Dac without any problem.
Yours should work?

Theres an active Shanling ET3 thread over on HeadFi forum, where a Shanling representative is active in good customer support.

Shanling have said the ET3 uses the PS Audio standard, so it should work?
Theres no settings in the ET3’ menu for i2s that effects the PS dac

Have you tried a different HDMI cable?

Hi gazjam,

Thanks for your informtion, I did try two HDMI cables, my DAC is the very old model Perfectwave and not Direcstream, any will try more different HDMI cables
and visit the HeadFi forum
