All things being equal…the casework alone on the Jays…at least for my tastes…smokes the PST.

As posted above, I have the Jay’s MK3. The build quality is certainly impressive. Thanks. Nice to hear someone else give some praise for the MK3, which I maintain is good value for money.

I know you have the Jay’s MK III. Have you compared the two? I may be over interpreting bit sounds like PST is maybe better in your mind.

Putting aside the ability to play SACD’s, I would LOVE to hear from someone who has done an A-B comparison of JUST 16/44.1 CD’s on BOTH the PST and the Jay’s MK3 Transport.
I want to know “IF” the galvanic isolation gives the PST the sonic edge over the Jay’s or not.
That would help me and others to be able to make our transport buying decision a little easier.

Oh yes, for sure. I have no intention to replace immediately my PST, I love it.
But all transports eventually die, and at that point, a Jay’s may be a good option.
You guys are content to leave it up to me to buy the PST and do the comparison.

You should get a commision. You deserve it. You got me to buy a PST fron all your rant on how good it is. 
But my friend want to get the Jay. Maybe when he gets it, I’ll ask him to bring it over for a shootout. It probably won’t be much of a contest though. I believe the PST will trounce it.

How about the Jay’s on the May or Mola Mola? Whilst I wait for my PS Audio DS DAC to be fixed, I get pretty amazing sound from the Jay’s on my humble desktop Chord Qutest DAC.
