Paul McGowan saidI use the PowerBase on DirectStream and love it. Although, I do not use its power filter, I use it only as an isolation base, preferring instead to use the output of the P10 directly into DirectStream.
I am a little late reading this thread, but I too was surprised that Paul is not using the PB filter on the DS as I would think, being digital, it is putting a lot of junk back on the line. I was really surprised Paul uses the PowerBase “ON” the DirectStream. I have my DS sitting “ON” the PowerBase.
