What does the clear SS do in the menu settings? I noticed the setting had a red x and I pressed it and it went into a mode for a while and then it returned to the menu and it said cleared. Did not see anything about this in the owners manual.
Hope I have not caused a problem doing this.

It caused the end of the world as we know it.
Actually I believe it clears album art etc from the SD Card .
No problem but for the universe folding in on itself.
Other have asked about the SS, but I do not recall we ever resolved what it does.
Would it be possible to point out where or when the “SS” button appears on the display, please? I can’t seem to find it. Thanks!

EDIT: Nevermind - it appears only on the 2.06 f/w screen. I’m still running 1.94 as it has never been explained what changes are in 2.06.
