Who’s going to play Paul in the movie version?
Thank you so much! It would have been good for me to understand more of this before reading the novel.
Shotta Sheriff is a fascinating character in the book, based on Aston Thomson don of Matthews Lane (aka Buckie Marshall). His name in the novel is a great reference to the song.
Robert Redford
I read a lot, but mostly beta reading for my wife’s steampunk novels and comics. And, of course, I beta-read 99% True and found a few corrections. Hopefully they were implemented.
You’ll love it guys. But you’ll wonder how Paul is even alive at this point . . . . .

Beta reading
That’s a new expression. Tech has definitely colonized our brains. It used to be called copy editing.
Yeah, but I’m not a copy editor, so I only correct things I know about, and sentence structure ain’t my prime forte. But I did find a reference to a receiver that Paul said was ‘built in China’ but I reminded him at the time those units were built in Japan.
Besides, my wife calls it ‘beta reading,’ so who am I to argue?

Next thing you know authors will be sending their texts out for UAT on Github
Good strategy! If my wife says the sky is green I reply what a wonderful shade of green it is.
Lesson learned after 26 years.
Hey Paul, any news on the launch date?
I am about 1/3 the way finished with the audio book and then we might be good to go for at least that, Kindle and the others. Hopeful before Christmas. Thanks for asking.
It would be very nice to have the book in the Holidays. Looking forward to it. Are you doing the reading for the audiobook yourself?
Ref.:99% TRUE by MCGOWAN
This BOOK was good fun reading.
What followed with the ‘raid on the chicken pen’ and the eggs story. Awesome indeed.
The four of ARMY helped you grow up and mature out.
You even got to make lady friend.
This book was a single read. From start to finish, with a few breaks.
Some of the stories were like ‘deja-vu’. Like it happened to me personally in 1970 on the first visit to a TOKYO fine-dining, had to put on a Jacket and a borrowed Tie, just for the entry and the meal.
And the CHINA story of ‘rats & roaches’ in a hotel room. This happened around 2010 in FOSHAN or was it ZHONGSHAN. Fully entertained by your style of writing and ‘nearly the whole truth.
Ref. ARNIE NUDELL and the HIGH END AUDIO….the customer contact and the speaker setup sure is practical and entertaining. Not to forget the Perfect setup in Manila, PHILLIPINES.
You are indeed like a RUBBER BALL’ bouncing your way through from one crisis to the next.
Do I recommend this BOOK?? 100% for all who have anything to do with AUDIO as a user , a customer or as a seller. Some marketing and business lessons in here to learn.
Not to forget how to relate to one’s family and treating all customers with compassion and feelings.
Well written PAUL.
Thank you! I am truly honored by your words.
