Hi all,
Does the BHK Signature preamp have an auto shut off? My wife has a tendency to leave everything on when an album is finished.

No, it does not. But there is not so much power savings, when going to standby. 60 watts vs. 23 watts.

I am fairly certain that I never turned mine off when I had one. Now with a VTL, I set an alarm to turn it on every day at 5 PM so it’s warmed up when I am ready to listen to it.

Still would be good to put into standby so you’re not wasting tube life.
