Yep, I’m buying an Oppo and they are sending cards for me to debug with. It will take a little time.
That’s what I call customer service and dedication. 
It is still conceivable the 103hd vanity board works with DS out of the box. I have not tried my 93hd board yet. Anyway, interesting developments. Keep us posted. I’ll try to get you my oppo with the 103 lite board as well.

Ted will soon take possesion of the 103HD board to try it out. As a said, it may just work out of the box with all firmware versions. My 103 Lite board does not work, but this is very different technology.
My point was that DoP will not work with the default firmware. You have to specify this during order…
Finally tried my Oppo93 with VanityHD board, and it works just fine with DS. Ted, did you get your Vanity 103HD board yet?
The VanityHD is now in the USA, still on the way.
I’ve got the Oppo in my system. It looks like a good value, well designed, well packed, great manual…
The Oppo BDP-103 manual basically says you are SOL with any PCM output from SACDs over the coax (not even a downsampled PCM stream.) The DS clicks and pops with an SACD playing which isn’t ideal… Sounds fine right out of the box with CDs, etc.
The Vanity93HD board turns the Oppo into a phenomal SACD transport, doing proprietary DSD -> PCM conversion at 176/24, beats the crap out of standard Oppo conversion. 103HD adds DoP into the mix. Not sure about the pops and clicks.
Sorry, I meant to indicate that the pops and ticks can probably be address in our display board processor (something like mute iff signal is coming and going too fast…) It’s a generic thing that might make it a little more obvious that no (real) digital signal is present.

I’m selling mine (93 VanityHD + Linear owersupply), but if you want the 103HD board with DoP capabilty you need to get it at audiopraise.com
Yes I checked it but don’t see prices, prefer the 103HD.
I don’t think Pavel has released the version of the board that outputs DoP to the JVB channel yet. To be save, order from audiopraise directly, or verify before buying from JVB. Also best to wait until Ted has confirmed it works with DS.

Ted, I was going to mention my stock Oppo BDP-105 when connected to the DS pops when I switch from CoAx to USB (Media-PC).
I haven’t mentioned it yet as I didn’t want it to seem that I was jumping on the “my DS Pops and Clicks” bandwagon in another thread, and wanted to do a video to explain what was happening. But it sounds like you’re already there.
Based on my recent emails with Pavel regarding the Vanity 103HD card, I think you CAN order it from JVB-USA. Here was my question to Pavel followed by his response:
Q: I would want the optional firmware with selectable SACD playback in DoP mode. Would I have to order this version directly from you, or does JVB Digital in the US stock it? If it is not stocked in the US, can the firmware be updated this version by the user, or is the only available directly from the factory, and how would I specify it when I would place an order?
A: We don’t sell directly in the US, but don’t hesitate to place an order with JVB. Just mention you want the DoP version and they will arrange the rest with us. [emphasis added] There is a dedicated software for the DoP functionality (replaces the SACD downmix) and the software in general is not user changeable.
I hope this helps. Based on Edorr’s very recent post(s), I like the odds of the Oppo 103 & Vanity 103HD card working properly with the DS, but I am waiting for Ted to prove it out just to be safe. It beats the heck out of having to return the card for an EC.

I did not actually get my money back from JVB when I switched DACs and the 103 Lite board did not work with the DS…

I have a -95 so would have to buy a new OPPO, can I use the 103hd with a Darbee OPPO ?
