Anyone ever open up a shipping box and find the tweeters dented? wondering if there is a fix or if they need to be replaced… any suggestions welcomed (tried blue painters tape to gently pull, but to no avail).
Hi I have Dynaudio confidence 5 speakers and have encountered this problem a couple of time . What you do is take the vacuum hose of a canister vacuum and place it over the dente tweeter and turn on. This will pull the dome back into shape. Worked for me.

Dynaudio should be able to provide you with replacement tweeters.
Besides sticky tape (maybe you try bit stronger one?) people also suggest sucking it out, but i have not tried this one, only tape and that worked fine - just small marks left instead of big dents (Dynaudio Audience 42)
If it was a new pair of speakers that were shipped to you and they were damaged during shipping I’d file an insurance claim with the shipper.

And you should also try to detect if the Russians were involved!
