I have had an A6 on my Mk2 for a couple weeks and it really sounds great. I’ve never tried the A6 internal DAC but I’ve read it’s pretty nice too. I filled all the unused ports with cyanoacrylate and it took the A6 to a whole other level!

Well I didn’t really fill them with CA because after I glued my hardhat to the the i-beam I was low. Before this I used a Bluesound Node with a modded power supply board and a linear power supply. It was very good but the A6 has a better interface and for me it sounds better. When they catch up on delivery try one and see.

Mine took like 8 days to get from China to Minneapolis Minnesota. Tracking was useless until DHL got it. Then it actually came a day early.

They’re showing a June 27 arrival date to Seattle. Since this is the first upgrade to my system in about 1.5 years I’ve forgotten whether I should be patient or impatient.

I spent my entire career in high tech and I remember software companies were finding that if they added weight and size to the retail packaging by printing on heavier papers for the manual and adding as much paper as possible to increase weight would have an impact on incremental sales as it would be perceived as “retail value by the pound” by the consumer. If the Eversolo DMP-A6 was in a larger case with fancier CNC sculptures hogged out of thick aluminum billets…just imagine that at $3999.99…
