Is anyone here likely to be able to compare the AL to the Eversolo?
I will once burn in happens. RAL for I2S on AirLens and WWSS8 for USB on Eversolo is only difference. Both have same Pangea power cord into P20 and using MKII as DAC. Give me a few days to let it burn in right. Maybe Sunday night I can some good comparisons.

Finally a comparison between the two versions from a respected source. Spoiler Alert- He prefers the Master Edition with internal DAC but even more when feeding a external one, but differences are subtle unless used with a highly resolving system.
I think the key difference between master and standard:
Those ACC ox clocks are 45.15 and 49.15Mhz. not even their their top speced clocks. 25 bucks for both at retail. Iām sure you can get ACC clocks thatās 90.31 and 99.30 Mhz to clock roll to further tweak the master edition. For the standard edition, you are stuck with whatever on the board.
Interesting that he chose to use SPIDF output to his DAC when using the Eversolo DMP-A6 (standard edition) as a streamer.
FWIW, I also preferred using the SPIDF instead of USB output on the Eversolo. This is probably because my Acoustic Zen MC2 SPIDF cable leans ever so slightly warm and was a good balance to the slightly bright-leaning sound of the Eversolo.
Meanwhile, my Inakustik USB cable is closer to neutral, and while it got me a bit more detail and soundstage than the SPIDF cable when using between the Eversolo into the Holo Spring 3 KTE DAC, the sound was a bit too bright for me to enjoy for longer listening sessions.
I enjoy a nicer soundstage using USB into my Benchmark compared to SPDIF. Otherwise, I was hoping to use SPIDIF as my DAC is limited to 24-96 with USB.
One of the nice things about the A6 is that if using the internal DAC, DSD files do not go through a āconversion to pcmā in order to get the files to an outboard DAC, and the A6 does sound great converting DSD to analogue.
Are you talking about DoP? From what I understand there is no degradation in sound doing that

If I upsample PCM to DSD256 within Roon, and the eversolo sends the DSD file to my Pontus II through my Matrix X-SPDIF 2, the matrix light glows blue for DSD, and the Pontus shows DSD on its lights, too.
Would it show DSD if it were DoP?
The G2 with the Hoerwege power supply is extraordinary!

Isnāt one of the selling points of the PST is the ability to be able to transfer raw dsd directly to the MK2?

Another owner of DMP-A6 Standard version in the hole :).
So far everything is even much better than expected. This device replaced my Primare NP5 streamer, which served me perfectly.
I donāt expect a new universe on the horizon with the DMP-A6 device, but I can already see a nebula here and there that will appear with It. Till now I only used Tidal HiFi as a source, Iām new to flac, dsd ā¦, but I can already see that this A6 will make it a lot easier (and costier 
). Iāll let the A6 do the burn in for a day or two, then Iāll leave it to my ears. Iāll use internal dac also, so my next step is already on the sight 
)

Probably why the Aries G2.2 boasts a dual toroidal supply, galvanically isolated. Does it sound better? Donāt know.
