How do you know that the A8 sounds better than the optional LPS offered for the A6 ? Have you A/B them?

Better than Rose 130? Really. Who is this guy with 4 Streamers like that to compare? Just wonder about random posts.
I donât know who he is, he must have his own good reasons, I have never compared the DMP A8 with the 130 also because they are different machines and for different uses. Maybe it should be compared with the 150b which has the DAC (even if it costs twice as much).

In my audio chain setup, besides the external R2R dac (Denafrips Pontus II 12th-1), I also have the DDC Denafrips Iris 12th, and am using the better volume knob from the Parasound 2100 preamplifier, with Apple Music lossless as the streaming source.
And my speakers have AMT tweeters (GoldenEar BRX) with 2 sealed subwoofers.
The internal LPS by LHY Beatechnik (https://www.beatechnik.com/lps-a6) is still on en route to me (I ordered on 12/28/2023).

Iâm not clear if Cattura was using an external DAC or their internal DACs when he compared the A8 versus A6+LPS versus A6ME+LPS.
It really doesnât matter that much friend. We are just pals happily discussing our hobby. If you want a guarantee that no one is intentionally trying to mislead you I would suggest a different forum. The Roon forum is supremely uncomfortable. They could be your people.

Today I installed the Beatechnik LPS-A6.

I was surprised to hear a SQ improvement because I already have a DDC Denafrips Iris 12th and DAC Denafrips Pontus II 12th-1, both have galvanic isolation.
Youtuber Hans Beekhuyzen said he thought that the improvement is now equivalent to a $2k Euro streamer (but not a $4k Euro streamer).
I spent 30% more than the stock Eversolo and I got the equivalent performance of a $2k Euro streamer which is a 100% return; this makes the LPS an excellent upgrade especially in this audio hobby of diminishing returns.

How would you describe your the improvement? I saw one YouTube video describe it as subtle. I am particularly interested in your impressions because, I to, will soon have a DAC with galvanic isolation.
Yes, in my setup, it is subtle.
Yes, Iâm surprised that in my setup, the LPS did further improve the SQ even though I already have the DDC Denafrips Iris 12th and external DAC Denafrips Pontus II 12th-1, both have galvanic isolation.
More musical. Vocalists sound smoother, stage is more open, fuller, more depth. Closer to live music.
I would recommend an upgrade to a DDC like the Denafrips Iris 12th (fixes noise and jitter), before doing an upgrade to the LPS (fixes noise).
Similar setup for me, but my DDC is a Matrix X-SPDIF 2 and my PII is the non-12th variety.
Itâs funny. I have no idea if it sounds better. Maybe it does.
If there was some way to switch between the two power supplies instantly to A/B them, then maybe I could say if I hear a difference.
But will I go back into the unit to disconnect the PSU to confirm?

Sometimes I describe something as obvious or significant and others canât hear any difference at all. We all perceive different I guess.
