I was using the unbranded cable that PS Audio provided with the DMP. I have also tried the PS Audio AC-10

The day before yesterday I have received the PST. Connected with a standard HDMI-cable it is playing cdās without any problems. Very pleased with the first impressions. Ordered the brand new AudioQuest Firebird 48, so it can only get better!
Sorry I canāt comment on PST vs DMP, by the time I ordered the combination, the DMP was no longer available. But waiting for the PST was worth while. I want to thank the staff of PS Audio to make this happen just before X-mas!

Iām a beta tester of the PST and an owner of the SGCD and a pair of M700s. All of this is driving Magnepan 3.7is. The improvement of this transport is shocking and very noticeable I came from a number of dedicated transports and most recently a PWT.
The improvement is dramatic and hard to understand. It makes the @2500 silver discs I own a treasure again. So close to my vinyl setup, also the new Stellar Phono Stage and an Oracle Delphi Mk. 6, itās a bargin and should be on anyoneās short list of reference digital sources.

Well, I have a good number of hours on the VdH HDMI now and it hasnāt changed much (or at least I just listen and am less conscious of the cable and any changes it may go through).
I feel it is as good if not a bit better than the AC-12 especially with a slight increase in clarity and dynamics. There is a rich or creamy texture to the sound with the AC-12 that I miss often enough, but I think the VdH is a better cable overall for the bulk of the material I play via the DMP. Itās a keeper.

If You would like to have a suggestion for a VdH Interconnect, which does essentially the same (and made hundreds of customers very happy over the years), You are invited to write me a PM - because itās here too much off topicā¦

Why is the Beta Testerās Impressions thread in the Preamplifier section of the forum? I couldnāt tell you how many pages of entries in the Transport section I scrolled through looking for it before @Terrence posted the link above.
Thanks, that explains why I could not find the Betaās impressions. I resorted to a search to find the thread.
To answer your question: Because this is where the creator of the thread put it. 
I changed the labeling. The thread is now in Transports.
Please let me know if you come across oddities such as this. I correct as many mistakes as I notice, but some get by me - such as this one.
