Good luck with the upcoming storm!

To everyone in its path, especially the folks in the projected ice storm regions. Hunker down, fellow audiophiles, and stay safe!

Survived the first night here in southeastern Oklahoma. It looks like about 2–3 inches fell overnight (far less than expected), though I’m not sure how much sleet is underneath. The temperature is 14° this morning with a wind chill of 2°. We’re between snow bands right now, but snowfall should pick back up in the next 30 minutes to an hour. We’ll see what Saturday brings. :snowflake:

Snow doesn’t usually concern me. We can take pretty pictures of it, play in it.
The ice storm is another thing entirely. Ice covering is nasty stuff.

Happens a few times a season, we don’t get worked up about under 2’
If the lake wasn’t frozen over and a lake effect system set-up this storm would be measured in feet

Winter storm in the south y’all.

Last week we got around 17” in 36 hours. I don’t think this storm will be as bad here in NE Ohio though it was -6 this morning, cold.

As a kid, I made good money shoveling the neighborhood. I never see that around here. Kids are inside with their phones and video games.

They don’t make them like they use to.

Indy is forecast to get 8”-12” but as far as I know, no freezing rain. Arrival time has been pushed back from noon today (Saturday) to 9:00 PM tonight, so no driveway clearing on today’s schedule. I’ll wake up tomorrow and see how it looks.
