HDMI TO Is2

Morning
I have oppo 103
And PS audio direct stream DAC.

I want to use 103 as a transport for SACD. My DAC as I2s input. Can I use hdmi audio out of oppo to the Is2 input?

If I can can I use any HDMI cable? Or are their cable such a HDMI to IS2?

Same cable and connector, but difference interface standard, so no you can’t. There is a 3rd party Chinese board you can buy to fit inside the 103 that will allow you to do what you want. I don’t know much about it but others will help there I’m sure.

Going through the process of installing the I2S board in my BDP-103D right now. Still working some issues. Might check out this discussion.
