Help!! I'm using a Connect MM Turntable - Sprout Analog - out to Sonos5

Hi there,
I'm using a Connect MM Turntable - Sprout Analog - Sonos 5
I was originally told to purchase a 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable and this should be connected to went from the Analog OUT to the Sonos IN)
This didn't work.
I was then told to buy a 3.5mm to RCA cable and then found I couldn't connect the RCA's to the Sprout Analog ports as they are 3.5mm (See Photo of Analog OUT and IN ports / 3.5mm)
So I purchased an 3.5m splitter to RCA and tried this in the Out Analog port with the 2 RCA's going into the splitter with the 3.5mm going into the 'Out Analog' and the other 3.5mm end going into the only available slot of 3.5mm into the Sonos.
If you have any other ideas on how to get this to connect the Sprout to the Sonos5 it would be very much appreciated.
If not I will have to return the Sonos back to you.
Kind regards,
Nigel

I’m not familiar with the Sonos products. That said, the 3.5mm to 3.5mm stereo cable would seem to be the right approach. How is the turntable connected? Does it have a built-in phono stage, in which case it should be connected to the Sprout’s analog in (another 3.5mm jack)? If not,it should be connected to the Sprout’s MM turntable input.

What happens when you use the 3.5mm cable? Do other sources work, such as bluetooth?
