Oh so nice!
I would like a lever, but all of the available counterspace has upper cabinets.

If you squint, you can see how the AeroPress came to be.
That’s a nice double boiler you have coming
We used to have Elektra Micro Casa a Leva which although a real stunner would only produce the elusive ‘God shot’ about once a month, no doubt due to my rubbish lever technique.
Current machine is the La Marzocco GS3 (manual paddle version). We got it before they had the conical valve so had that retro-fitted plus a few other mods. So now it can do a proper pre-infusion and the pressure can be adjusted manually throughout the shot.
I think there is a setting to use the local library first if the song is available. If I can find it i’ll let you know.
Only thing I can see is that you can select which streaming service to prioritize (if you subscribe to both), but it doesn’t let you prioritize “local” over subscription files. In settings it says it’s gonna prefer the highest-resolution file in your library, regardless whether it’s local or qobuz/tidal.
So, see if you also have that qobuz file in your library.
If you don’t, well, then, you’re right, seems like a bug!
EDIT: oh, also, if you have both in your library, maybe see which one you have listed as “primary”…
Nope. While I have some classic and well loved cooking gear from the gas burner part of my life, when I got my Fulgor Milano 36” induction stove I decided I didn’t want to get any of those hob transfer plates. My nonna’s Moka now has a place in one of our glassed in kitchen cabinets as a momento, along with a few other things.
See, this is what I don’t get. They’re going to push out something new that solves no problem that anyone has with the existing standard other than “we don’t want to pay royalties” (ahem MQA, Sonos).
Imagine if Google weren’t always chasing some shiny penny with their substantial engineering staff. Wait-never mind. I don’t think I want that. I saw “ex Machina”
Oh sweet! That is beautiful.
I think we need to start a “We also like coffee” thread . After a week in Miami getting through customs, I should finally be taking delivery of a Rocket R Nine One espresso machine I purchased Black Friday week. Hopefully tomorrow
I’m upgrading from a Breville Double Boiler (which is a great machine for the money) and look forward to experimenting with pressure profiles on the Rocket.
Hmmm, I thought we already had a coffee thread around here somewhere.
My lowly Breville needs an upgrade to join the cool clubs here it seems
Anyone here can suggest a model that’s Roon Ready?
I was thinking more generally We Also Love High End Appliances
No, since this is a Roon thread!
I once got a bag of the special stuff from Peru that’s said had gone through some magical critters’ digestive tracks which impute magical flavors to the brew.
I shared the said brew with my office buddies…
Some, would never talk to me again after that.
LOL
I’m confused…
I thought this topic was about the history of high speed rail in Japan.
It is. But it’s high speed rail while drinking espresso from machines powered by P20’s, using Stealth cables and M1 fuses. Otherwise… BORING!
How was it. I saw it for sale a while ago, but it was ridiculously expensive so I didn’t get it. Now on retrospect, I wish I had.
I imagine at a coffee shop it would be triple that cost. Maybe more depending on the city.
Bialetti is one of the classic home moka and produces now model induction enabled, also La Giannina is a good choice
I can get coffee and cappuccino easily in every bar in 5 minutes but ironically I use this one:
To be honest, I highly recommend you all put more effort into selecting the best coffee than the best machine (look at the music you play and not just the equipment, to use an audiophile example).
I think this thread needs a name change “We also love coffee makers” might work.
