High quality, highly recommended OUT OF PRINT vinyl

Unfortunately this one is already out of print, although released just a few days ago. But you can still get it.

Most of the Resonance Bill Evans titles have a bootleg character and sound from awful to good. Not all of them inherit his usual standard in terms of musical performance.

This 3 LP set is different. It is not only the best sounding Resonance Bill Evans LP, it’s one of the best sounding Evans recordings generally. It has a top end extension, 3D imaging and dynamic, energetic and lively sound, so that I dare to say, different than nearly all other Resonance Recordings, this can only be an all analog production, even if the bass here and there is overamplified and the piano sounds limited in the size of its sound (probably due to mic placement), but the rest is first class. If it turns out, this was digitally sourced, I’m completely shocked, can’t be, I never heard a digitally sourced LP sounding like that.

Even the music on this one is special, not only due to two titles with the Metropole Orchestra and one never before released title of him, but also because his well known compositions are very good versions.

Guess what, I highly recommend it, pay the price it has now, it’s worth it! I think this one will get much more expensive. I have the Japanese release, but I think that doesn’t matter, they are all pressed at the same plant.
