With my Roon Ready Lumin T2 connected to Roon, this is never a problem.
The Holo is a Roon Bridge, so maybe it’s a function of lesser functionality that comes with the Bridge

Speaking of Roon, is it a valid endpoint? I saw “Roon bridge” on the website description, but that was it. I’m not a Roon super user or anything, so pardon my semantics.
I use it with mconnect and it works perfectly , use tidal, or steaming from my Innuos Zen
Would love to hear comparisons between Red and these two:
Primare MK2 and iFi doesn’t have I2s, but curious if RED is better than the other two via USB if the DAC is MKII.
Have you contacted Holo about this? I am certain that Tim wouldn’t want this behavior to persist.

I like the idea of throwing external LPS at it, but not really an option.
Depending on the implementation, internal PS’s are fine. We’ve all seen quality internal supplies. The MKII comes to mind.

A point of correction, the Lumin T2 has dual ESS SABRE32 ES9028Pro DAC chips.

Also, did I see a drop-down GUI interface somewhere? Is there an app? I’ve yet to use AirPlay on my main system, and am mostly curious how I will switch from Roon to Apple Music.
It’s Airplay capable. That should work. (That’s what I’ve been doing.)
I think it’s turned on by default, but if not, go to the web page for the Holo and you can select from there. Check the manual on how to get to the web page. (Or you can look up the IP address for the Holo and then go to it on the browser.)
Yep. Cool. The manual doesn’t appear to be viewable from their website, but if anybody has noticed otherwise, please say so.
