Hooking up multiple Subwoofers other then XLR y connections?

I have 2 subs connected to front by Goldenear Triton three + for fronts for a Home theater like to
add 2 more with Goldenear Triton three + in rear (instead of book shelf speakers?)
I need know is there a way around by not using y connection?
