Nice. Their recent Arcadia album is a good one too.
Me too!
That must have been a great show. I think that is Jerry Douglas on the left in your last photo.
Jerry is a musician’s musician. In addition to his many solo albums, he has appeared on more than 1,600 albums (source: Jerry Douglas - Wikipedia).
What’s really crazy is we saw Jerry at our local “Country Store” back in April, ‘23. And he was with the Earls of Leicester in Rocky Mount at another very small venue called the Harvester. His playing gives me the chills every time I hear him.
I never ever warmed to “Modern Guilt”. Am I broken or is it?
Would you accept both?
Absolutely!
Saw them in late July in Portland, OR. Fabulous concert/music.
Yeah. Morning Phase ends with at least some hope. Sea Change is pretty dark.
Enjoy! Taking it all in.
Last night back to Birdland to see Geoffrey Keezer Trio.
That’s Linda May Han Oh on bass. I have seen her several times in the past few years. She’s phenomenal.
@vkennedy61 Thanks for those pics, that was quite a tour – respect!
RE: Robert Cray Band. We saw them a few years ago at a small venue and were blown away by how great they sounded and how tight the band was. Highly recommended.
Agreed. They were excellent. We really enjoyed the show.
Ticket prices were reasonable too. Sandler Center is a fairly small venue with seating about 1,300. Best part is you can buy tickets at the venue 5 days a week, so no Ticketmaster markups or added fees. There is never a line, so we always get great seats. We were in the 10th row for the Robert Cray Band. We have 8th row tickets for next month for Gov’t Mule.
