I agree - there’s a few tracks I (secretly) enjoy, (shhhh) and some of the 70s guitars guys were fan-tabulous! Roy Clark, Glen Campbell, Chet, those guys were jaw-droppingly good. Country was ALL my folks listened to so I was raised around it.
I read that Glen Campbell and Alice Cooper were very close friends & golf buddies throughout the years. Vince said they lead similar lives early on - just in 2 different genres. Their wives were also close.
But ya gotta pick on your friends - that what you DO. As an owner of 2 fords (3 if you count the 51 8N…) I just have to rib poke my Chev owner friends… Its my duty. And theirs.
