When I was a field engineer for IBM we used to jokingly refer to the screw drivers in our bag by their amperage rating.
I am reminded of the technique, when I was young and irresponsible and a fuse was urgently needed, of wrapping a 13A fuse in aluminium foil and then tearing it away from the body to leave only a thin strip. With practice and artistry you could create anything from a 1A slow-blow to a crowbar!
Same here except we used the foil from a cigarette pack as everybody smoked cigarettes then.
