Well, it IS a Gray Larson, Far Side cartoon. Gary is a local hero, having gone to college just 8 miles from here.
Of particular interest to us in the forum:
He worked for a while in a music store in Seattle and when he took a few days off he realized how much he hated the job. So he took up cartooning.
He has played jazz guitar since he was a teen and later took lessons from jazz guitarists Remo Palmier and Herb Ellis. He provided Ellis with the cover illustration for the album Doggin’ Around.
