I’m a bit nervous, too, but love 90+% of the contributions…and, by all means, humor indeed does vary widely.
Nothwithstanding, we forbid Political Commentary, do we not??.. I was guilty one day, stll regret where but not what I said, and but completely accept and RESPECT my “punishment” of immediate deletion of the comment.
Some may find religion (anyone’s GOD) a laughable matter, but surely religion as a person’s sense and faith in immortaility, source of common values and very foundations of rules of law is at least as, if not much more “sacred”, as/than politics (most of whose very foundations are ???). Uh Oh…I did “catch myself” this time…(-
Again, like Joe, I find myself laughing a lot at and enjoying absurd humor and I love sharing many of the real “jewels of joy” that are perhaps the great majority of this thread.
Postscript, this entire Forum remains one of my most enjoyable pastimes…very many thanks!
