I don’t know what I would do without you all right now

You’ve gone to the dogs.

Love that picture. And you have to KNOW that you can beat this. Walk as straight and tall as you can, every time you take a step.

Hola Mike, just touching base buddy -how are you feeling?

Good enough. Good days and bad days abound and I’m never entirely sure which it’s gonna be. I’m frustrated that I’m not progressing fast enough. My bride keeps me motivated with reminders that I’m walking and out of my chair, but that’s not quite enough.

Thanks for the note. I wish I had something to say definitively.

You’re conquering this Mike, however slow and frustrating it gets! Well done so far and keep it real positive -you owe it to the Missus who’s there motivating you non-stop.

I’m not as fat as the photo makes me look, but I’m on my feet and back in the office again. (Photo is not my actual office).

Wow!!! Awesome. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you, sir. Wouldn’t be here without ya.

You look great.

Looking great Mike, hopefully feeling better gradually also?

Good News! Thanks for the update. Looking good! Also glad to hear that’s not your office! Not to disparage anyones profession, of course.

That’s an awesome pic. Recovery stories are aces!

Mike,
Nice pic, you look marvelous. That looks so much better than your last posted photo.
Chas

You sure do look better! Good news for sure.

Looking good Mike…God Bless!

I think I’m on schedule to be able to attend AXPONA this year. Fingers crossed.

Looking good buddy!

Relatively new on the forum and just read thru this because the topic mirrors my feelings and sadly my experience. @umiami91 if you need to hear from a transplant survivor please feel free to reach out. I did 6 rounds of Chemo before they got the mix right and I could get the transplant. Mine was allogeneic (Donor cells) but the experience should be the same especially in the beginning. Keep fighting the good fight brother! And my thanks as well go out to the folks here who have steered me to great music and good spirit.

Last post for this topic from me I think.

As of today, I’ve been approved for an autologous stem cell transplant starting on the 22nd of July. I’m going to be effectively completely out of commission for probably six weeks after; hospital recovery is 2-1/2 weeks itself; they need me to stay near there for another three, so recovering from the procedure really takes that long. Most folks who get through this live a good long 10+ years after though. So I have hope for a future if I make it through this.

Thank you to all my PS Audio family for your prayers and generosity. You know who you are. I would not be here without your love, prayers, and support. Thank you.

I’m going to sign off the internet for awhile I think to spend time with my family as we head into the second half of the month and to heal after that. Know that you remain in my heart and thoughts. And again. Thanks for all you’ve done to keep me alive and sane up to this point. God bless.

All the best for you, take care and we’ll see you back here after those weeks! Pimp your mindset as good as you can, it will be very important I guess…I cross all fingers for you! (hope this is the right expression for what I want to say  )
