I decided to buy back an Eversolo DMP-A8 and I love it. But… my Stellar Gold DAC I2S receiver has inverted pins 1 and 3. and also, 7 and 9. Resulting in swapping my channels. No big deal, I have two options: swapping inputs on the amplifier or building a HDMI cable with one standard A end and inverting the pins on the other. I did both. My fresh “out of my lab” cable worked. I spent a good 3 hours in the making. There’s a lot of tiny cables to measure to make sure you are doing it right.
I still want to have a properly made cable. Anyone knows about a place that one can order a HDMI cable with a customized pinout?
