Possible to make an HDMI to i2S that reverses polarity?

Dang, not sophisticated (ie ‘smart’) enough to install a board into my BluRay player to reverse polarity for the DSD via HDMI to i2S converter to my DSD DAC Mk1… is it possible to find/make an HDMI to i2S cable that reverses it back to correct L and R channels? (I do have the part that does the same thing, but am simply not able to install i to my Sony player).

You can use the Polarity button on the remote control to reverse the polarity in the DAC.

I don’t have the answer, but I assume you mean the left and right channels are swapped, not that the absolute polarity is inverted?

That reverses absolute phase of both channels that will not correct channel orientation. The mk 2 DAC has the ability to adjust this but the DSD mk 1 does not. The only way to correct it would be on the source end.

You are correct, not familar with all the nomenclature - just getting up to speed and really enjoying the process
