Good Day, problem solver, kindly asking for your help?

Surprise, I have been given a PS Ultimate Outlet.

[Widow of a friend discard all HiFi, didn’t ask, it’s part of the process [8 years after]: “could not live with that, take it”

Question 1: is it better than the wall outlet? purer and more powerful?

Question 2: should I connect my S300 to it? and my tube preamp Marantz 7?

Question 3: should I connect a power bar to it?

Question 4: should I connect UPS to it?

Question 5: Does any of You use UPS [battery backup] for turntable, CD player, DAC, etc?

Thanks for any help you could provide

I recently added a PS audio ultimate outlet to my system as well.

You can think of it as the younger sibling to PS audio’s power regenerators but doesn’t actually do the power regenerating.

I’m using it as a power conditioner for my dac and pre amp. You can use it for your S300 but it’ll make more of a difference on the digital chain.

I wouldn’t use a power strip on it but just two components directly into it instead.

I agree with Neight’s advice for usage. I used one for about five years up to about five years ago. Was nice, not necessary though with power regenerators I decided, nor with the Verafi Audio products I am using now. But a nice product!
