Kudos KS-1 vs Van Damme Black Series Biwire 2.5 or 4mm2

Hi

Presently using a Linn Selekt DSM Active into Linn 119 speakers with Kudos KS-1 speaker cable (5m length).

I am considering using a four core cable instead of 2x two core cables and as per the title, has anybody compared the above speaker cables.

Reasons for changing;

  1. The DSM runs warm to the touch, not too warm to touch, but warm nevertheless. Checking the resistance of the cables is as follows; Kudos 1.5mm2 = 0.03 Ohms / VD 2.5mm2 = 0.0076 Ohms / VD 4mm2 = 0.0046 Ohms. Does the cable length and thickness make a difference
  2. Would like 1x four core cable instead of 2x two core cables
  3. Change cable colour to black from white for aesthetics
  4. Due to repositioning would need only 2.5m length instead of 5m

Thoughts would be appreciated
