Looking for a particular type of CD sleeve

and I think it was mentioned here somewhere. I’m going to finally ditch the plastic cases for my CDs because it just takes up way too much space for the number of CDs I have. I think someone here mentioned there’s a sleeve that will house the CD and also the booklet. I can’t seem to find that, assuming I’m remembering that it really was mentioned here.

Fantastic! Thanks Dave. Should I get the inner paper sleeves they also sell? I see the plastic sleeves are made of virgin vinyl (or something like that), but will it truly not harm the CD over many years storage?

Funny, I didn’t even know about the paper inner sleeves. The plastic protects everything very well, and I dont think I am particularly delicate pulling the cds out to play them, but I also don’t play them as much as I used to.

The only disappointment when putting them all in sleeves is there is nothing you can really do with the CDs with cardboard casing. But, you can put double CDs in them. Do watch the video they have to see how its done.

I have all my discs in these. Photos below. I can’t help with the bins. They’re of European origin and Container Store no longer sells them. So basically I can’t buy any more CDs. Or something.

As you can see, there is a separate storage zone for the disc behind the booklet, with a non-scratch fabric separating the two.

I have used the MMDesigns CD Pro sleeves as illustrated by umiami91 for many years. They are also available on Amazon (Sold by CyberGuys) or directly on the CyberGuys website. They come in packs of 25 and I choose whichever site has the best price for product plus shipping. My CD collection is over 5,000 discs and counting. I don’t really like the cardboard digipacks as I can’t transfer them to the CD Pro sleeves.

i bought the Space Saving sleeves and the inner paper sleeves for the CDs. This protects CDs well and allows both CDs in paper sleeves if a dual CD. Very happy with both, saves a ton of space. I use these for all CDs that come with a plastic case.
