All first edition Morrow Audio class 7 ( 3 or 4’) for all connections but class 6 (24’) speaker and class 4 (6’) power cables. All with audio grade connections. Very lively and musical.
Some day may try something else - Audioquest?
Mainsystem: ICs: Cardas Quadlink, Parsec, and Golden Presence Cardas Lightning BNC. Speaker cables: DIY Canare 4S11.
Office Headphone Rig (imac): Morrow Audio MA4/5 Cardas USB, Cardas Lightning BNC
Note: Cardas ICs in office system picked up interference like an antenna. Morrows did not.
Edit: Golden Presence (not Reference)
Used Transparents for a long time, never felt much about the low/mid AQs, though I hear their top end stuff is good. Currently recommend: Iconoclast, Wireworld, Audience, Mogami.
Hi davida,
What amp are you using the pangeas on? I was thinking about using them for the M700’s. Just trying to decide whether the SE’s are justified for the extra money over the standard AC 9.
I think I need to try the Parsec on my Marantz Ruby.
Interconnects are all Siltech 330i, 550i, 770i. Speakers are Siltech 550L.
I can’t hear any real difference from them and the Quadlinks. You can find Quadlinks used at fair prices and have them inspected and recertified at Cardas. Parsecs are the upgraded version.

Parsecs are nice, but here’s a link to Vintage Cardas Golden Presence at 60% off. Would be close to the same pricing. The older versions are firmer and less flexible. They don’t bend at sharper angles well either.
I’ve traded with Parts Connection. They are in GTA. Good company.
Kimber Palladians for power
Kimber Carbon for XLRs
Kimber Carbon 18XL for speakers
I personally don’t believe in fancy cables.
Thanks for the link!
goof
I wish I didn’t it save me a lot of money.
Okay, my Interconnects are Wireworld, my speaker cables are Analysis Plus Inc. Solo Crystal Oval 8 after trying and enjoying ANTICABLES Level 3 “Reference Series”.
I also have custom made Analysis Plus cables on my REL subs.
My USB cables are Wireworld PS7 and Revelation Audio Labs. I prefer the Wireworld.
Recently I switched to Revelation Audio Labs HDMI and found it extremely good.
Otherwise I use Wireworld PS7 HDMI.
Power is mostly Shunyata Sigma and Delta NR and now Core Power Diamonds from Walter at Underwood.
I am happy to have no Audioquest cables in my system.
Hey Paul172,
My power amp is a Parsound A21 250watt/channel high bias a/ab
There I use the Pangea AC9Se MkII 1 from regenerator P12 and P12 to wall
There is a difference in construction AC9 vs AC9Se MkII the AC9Se MkII has a
silver plated copper braided shield over a double sided foil aluminum foil shield. The
AC9 does not.
There are reviews on other forums…one audiophile lady loves them…forget what forum though.
Mine are quick, authoritative, tight bass, beautiful across the board soundstage…Mostly
mainly thanks to P12 …AC9Se MkII play very very well here.
Thanks for asking…go for them…
OOOPs it is the 20amp version that is on sale
had to repost link
Isoclean SuperFocus Speaker cables.
Revelation Audiolabs Paradise XLR interconects.
Wireworld Silver Starlight 7 USB.
Power Cords: Oyaide Tumani V2 ( Except one VIBEX Reference 30A in my Boulder 1060 power amp ).
PS Audio HDMI-12-I2S ( Ps Audio Memory Player-Directstream )
Yea. Mine will be connected to a Niagara 1200 and the length is only .6m so that why I was debating on the difference between the 2. An extra $120 seems like a lot for .6m
I’m currently using Cardas Parsec XLR interconnects (3 ft length) between my SGCD preamp and M700 amps. I like the combination of a reasonable level of clarity and detail with a solid low end and enough midrange warmth to keep my Thiel speakers from sounding too bright. I used the Cable Company’s lending library (which I think is temporarily shut down due to Covid-19) to compare the Parsec to XLRs from Shunyata and Synergistic Research that were in a similar price range. The Shunyata XLR was pleasant and non-fatiguing, but lacked “life” and clarity. The Synergistic XLR had plenty of detail on the high end but lacked a stellar low end and produced rapid listening fatigue in my system. Among the other cables I owned (all RCA not XLR), an old StraightWire Rhapsody beat out everything else for second place behind the Parsec. My system has tended to sound harsh and a bit thin with any of the Audioquest ICs I’ve tried, but I’ve only tried ICs from the less expensive AQ lines.
Although I really like the Parsec in my system, I have read complaints about the Parsec not performing as well in very long lengths compared to shorter lengths. I have had success with Parsec XLR lengths in the 3-5 foot range, but you may want to demo first before buying very long lengths if that’s what you need. I must confess to also being interested in trying the Iconoclast XLRs in comparison to my Parsecs, but I haven’t made a commitment to a demo trial yet given the extra cost if it would turn out that I prefer the Iconoclasts.
For speaker cables, I’m still using a set of 25-year-old StraightWire Encore cables with my Thiel CS2.2 speakers. They are a good match, and I would have to spend a lot of money to replace my pair of 24 ft cables with something better.
For power cords, I did find that the Audience Forte F3 sounds better than the stock cords on my Stellar stack, but I haven’t compared them to more expensive power cords. These entry-level cords can be bought for under $150 a piece, and they’ve been a worthwhile investment for me.
For the money, and even compared to much more expensive cables, I couldn’t be happier with the Synergistic Research Foundation speaker cables, along with their IFT jumpers, which in my opinion sound much better than any other true bi-wired combination of speaker cables I’ve tried in the past.
Also SR’s Blue power cord was a game changer on my DMP.
Pauk172…try not to chince out for a small savings…think about the larger scheme of things
such as your overall investment in you system and future goals for it…
Sometime back on another forum well healed folks were bickering about the price between to same tube types and how much an nos telefunken price was…the background in their case are very very
over the top systems (they could have easily purchased) and were stumbling on the price of the grandaddy of all triple mica12at7’s…while they were bickering I got me a couple of them …and for quite a bit less some siemens triple mica 12at7s for my McIntosh Mx110z (probably made for siemens by telefunken. ) Now the siemens are gone and the price of the teles went up much more…
Actually from 0.6meter 149.95 to 1meter is only 25 more… may not be as much as you thought originally.
Sorry if I got long winded…
