Did the cable upgrade on your Rels make any difference? Was thinking about getting some.
Kimber for speakers. Interconnects are a mix of Kimber, LAT Intl, Morrow Audio, Audioquest.
Lenehan Audio FoilFlex balanced interconnects and speaker cable. Giant slayers.
Yes sir, I believe they do. Jason at the Cable Company set me up with mine. I am pleased.
Using AQ Diamond USB, Water interconnects & Castlerock speaker cables. I’m happy with these.

The FoilFlex website is quite amusing as it contains audiophile bs going on about years of research and the cables should cost $6,000 so they are a bargain at $1,200. They look very much like a copy of Townshend Isolda speaker cables that have been made in the UK for about 40 years and Goertz cables from Denmark that have also been made for ages. The main factor discussed is the same, low inductance, around 2 to 4 ohms for all three brands. Lenehan talk about a varnish coating, don’t say what it’s made of, Townshend and Goertz use
Polyester and Teflon, basically a very thin plastic. Otherwise the basic structure is the same.
I use the Townshend cables and they seem to do a good job, recommended to me about 20 years ago by someone who has been using the same pair since he reviewed them almost 30 years ago.
Otherwise I use a 1m Blue Jeans Ethernet and a 25m AudioQuest Pearl Ethernet from my modem. No other cables as I have an all in one unit.
I was using AQ, BlueJeans Cable and Pangea but, since I’ve migrated 100% to active speakers, I’m just using stock power cables.
At some point, I may buy power cables from AQ, Nordost, Pangea or Shunyata but I would rather put that money toward high end actives like Dutch & Dutch or Kii.
Cerious Technologies Graphene Matrix cables throughout the system 6 power,2 sets of xlr and speaker cables. Matrix usb and Qed optical or Inakustik hdmi to DSD dac at the moment. Settled with these cables after trying something like 100+ different power ,interconnect or speaker cables through the years. Absolute reference class to me and price to quality ratio is ridiculously good.
Sidenote: never had my hands on Shunyata,Wireworld or Iconoclast ( and many others ) …and probably never will. I´m done and in the final with these cables but always looking forward trying new “what´s best now” offerings available. At the moment I have top of the line MG Audio Planus silver speaker cables on loan from a friend. Great sounding cable ,but can´t challenge Cerious.
I heard those new Foilflex speaker cables in friends setup a couple times too. Didn´t like them too much and neither did he ,and they were sent back. The reigning champ is just too strong, surprisingly Cerious cables being used there too.
Currently using
Iconoclast AES/EBU from transport to DSD
BJC HDMI from streamer to DSD
Iconoclast balanced from DSD to Pre
Mogami balanced (17ft) from Pre to Amps
Reality speaker cables (on the hunt for new)
As noted earlier, it’s all about synergy. Many moons ago, I discovered and interconnected my system with Analysis Plus copper. Loved the way it preserved the top end.
Over time, I realized my system was too bright sounding. Stepped “up” to Audience cables — reduced the brightness and glare, but it turns out, the brightness and glare was caused by electrical and digital noise.
Solving the noise problem (over several years btw) made the Audience cable’s HF taming function undesirable. switched back to Analysis Plus — gorgeous.
I consider cabling to be high-end tone control, since all cables have a sound signature. You’ll either love a cable or you’ll hate it, and above a certain level of design quality, SQ is the only way to judge.
Yes. The proof of the pudding is in the listening. There are fewer “bad” cables than there are good ones with their own sonic signature. I would suggest getting a set of cords from the Cable Co. or a dealer with a return policy and decide for yourself. They can assist you in a proper grouping and
also have sufficient inventory to satisfy your interests.
You will know it when that certain cable sounds “right”. Me, I have Iconoclast SPTPC, OCC, WWP7 cables and SR Alpha, Sigma cords but it’s what floats your boat.
