Lots of buzz with Audioquest and PS Audio. My question is what interconnects and speaker cable are you using in your own system?

Using AQ water for all line level analog connections. CD, DAC, pre-amp & power amp.

How do you like the Colorado compared to the newer Earth interconnects?

The Earths are quite a step up especially in resolution probably due to the improved dielectric. I’d say it’s closer to the Niagara (which I used to own) than the Colorado.

Thanks for the info. The AQ rep told me the Earth interconnect replaced the Colorado in the line up.

Kimber, all Kimber.

Thanks for the review link! I was told that the Robin Hood’s would make a significant difference in my system. I’ll have to give them a try!

Hi Pau172…

After all the replies from so many enthusiasts…why not order a set from a retailer that offers home demo
trial before final purchase …

Try, listen, take notes; try another set get a personal feel .Then let your ears decide.

This approach may help you come to a conclusion and settle into enjoying your desired end…

Please however keep us updated on your home trial journey…woud be great to hear your
story…

Best wishes…happy hunting

Just bought the Sprout 100. Tested speaker wires, from a cheap 14 ga no name wire, to 12 ga Sewell from Amazon, to a pair of Kimber Kable 8PR purchased off EBay directly from Kimber. Increased fidelity after each upgrade, but the most pronounced with the Kimber Kables. Now a firm believer in upgrading speaker wires. My speakers? A very inexpensive Hsu Research bookshelf speaker with a horn driver and 6 1/2 inch woofer …

My passive speaker system has Iconoclast TPC XLR interconnects and also Iconoclast TPC speaker cables.
My active speaker system has Iconoclast TPC XLR interconnects and a 32’ set of Belden BAV XLR’s to the speakers. Wireworld platinum 7 HDMI i2s connection between Pink Faun and Direct Stream DAC.

Tongue in cheek…

I know…and like many, before the days of Monster Inc…good ole zip was all we had…
it did serve well for back then…
