My last pair of speakers? Probably!

I appreciate your dedication in not accepting Audiophile compromises to your high standards. The Apex Amps sound like the heaviest boxes to move since the speakers are assembled by smaller modules.

The podcast Ryan said tweeters have only a 40 percent yield during manufacturing. That shows MBL also has uncompromising standards.

Are the Vivids finding a new home?

You assume that they will still be Vivid’s over the next 30 months. Remember who you are asking…Odds are?

I’m confident we will see the Estelon Extremes in the next 30 months…

The next question is, will Al have a wife! My wife has seen MBL speakers and the response sounded unpleasant!

If the MBL radialstrahler is out of reach then maybe

Ohm does feature a 360deg soundfield mids on up…

Just a thought…

Thanks for the podcast link! Great interview with Bryan. If you are Axpona next month stop by MBL and say hi to him.

I actually have a pair of Ohm Walsh V in storage (sequential serial numbers). They do sound fantastic, though by now I would probably have to send the cans to Ohm to refurbish, as I believe they use foam surrounds…

Hi, my name is tak1313, and I’m a stereo equipment hoarder.

I had a pair in the 90’s. They did sound great. I put mine in storage for several years. When I retrieved them the foam surrounds crumbled. I sold them as is. I seem to remember the cost of refoaming was pretty high. They had to go back to the factory.

Makes me wonder how the new generation of Ohms perform…
must be very good…

I think you might’ve screwed yourself, because I don’t see an upgrade path at this level.

Never really looked into the price - I just bought new speakers, after which I bought new speakers, after which I bought new speakers…

I do know that you only send the cans in - a good thing as I believe the base cabinets are about 90lbs each.

One can always send them back to the factory for paint changes to match decor and change cables for different sound.

Would you say that Iconoclast can compete with any cabling you’ve auditioned? You did say some time ago they certainly are not worse than your Stealth cabling at the time. Which must have been top of the line Stealth anyway, right.

That week…
