Nema 5-20P 20 amp power cords

i am surprised I haven’t seen any posts about this. How many of your 20 Amp power cords have a true 20Amp cable? I had Jonny at Snake River make me a 20 Amp cable with a 5-20P receptacle plug for outlet side. Glad to see he now offers that as an option on website!I am all in on Takshaska!
Sean helped me (ok, AL!) upgrade to Powerzone, and my BHK600s are loving it, as is MU2, and Onix, etc, but i think part is full 20AMP going to PZ to distribute… Working on my room, b4 i get PMG M800s…or FR12s… I just need to order FR12s… So far, i have avoided Stealth… i know…

As always, thanks to Paul and PS Audio for this forum, and my FR30s, and BHK600s!

I believe all of my 20 amp power cables seem nice. I will offer that when my dual 20 amp amplifier is plugged into my PowerZone, both cables plug into one four outlet bank powered by one 20 amp circuit. The remaining two outlets were shared by a BACCH-SP adio and a weird powered device that I can’t remember the name of at the moment. It uses zilch for power, it just needs to be plugged into the same power conditioner the rest of the gear uses.
There was a time I plugged one amplifier power cable into one dedicated 20 amp circuit, and the other into another dedicated 20 amp curcuit. The amp didn’t care for that situation.
If a device can comfortably operate on one 20 amp circuit it should not be equipped with two 20 amp cables.
Your thoughts?

Could be the circuit breakers for the two circuits weren’t on the same phase in your breaker box, and your amp hated that.

I just deleted a post that I thought was in the wrong thread, but it was not. I am still in Asia time and jetlag got me good. Going to bed again soon.

Takshaka power cord is a great one, but compared to the top dogs of Stealth, AQ, and Zenwave two areas are a bit subpar. One is its midrange especially the lower midrange is slightly richer than above mentioned, and second the noise floor is not as low as them. For this reason I believe it is better to be used on power components since it has a large amount of conductors (mix of gold, silver, and red copper if I remember right).

I found Takshaka speaker cable is their best one so far (have not tried IC). It sounds totally neutral and dead quiet, also provides excellent instrumental separation. It sounds better than Fidelium, AQ RH, and a few demo I have tried before Takshaka.

I turned on the system and MU2 could not find its Roon core. I shutdown the system including Orbi Sat which was a big mistake. Because on the 2nd day of vacation the Ring security system was shutdown too (it was controlled by sat.). Luckily my neighbor checked and front door was locked.

Time to go to bed, again.
