Has anyone done a shootout between Nordost Kones TC vs Stack audio EQ? I’m currently using Nordost Kones TC under my Dac and streamer.
I’m tempted to buy and test a set of Stack audio eq.

I haven’t tried Sort Kones, but imo the Auva EQ are worth a shot. They do their best work under digital – I have them under dac and both streamer chassis.
In my setup the main benefits are expanded immersive staging, balanced tonality and a nice increase in tangibility. More so than other footers I’ve tried on digital equipment, Auvas enable that “reach out and touch the sound” illusion.
They’re a bit of a Goldilocks footer for me. Not slow and mushy like Herbie’s, not as thin as stillpoints. They don’t have quite the same speed or microdetail as Stillpoints Ultra SS v1, but it wasn’t something I noticed outside of direct comparisons. The stillpoints comparisons shows that Auvas aren’t the best at everything ever, but they’re so balanced that they’re a no-brainer for the price. I have 4 sets of them now (and 100s under my speakers), and have recently been branching out into trying other types of footers. Those experiences have really helped solidify my stance on the Auvas.

Tried both under my DAC. The Stack Audio EQ gave a slightly tighter bass, while the Kones TC kept the top end more open. Depends on your setup and taste.
I have replaced the TC kones under my dac with the Stack audio, the difference was huge, the sound stage opened up, more of everything.
Hopefully another set of Stack will arrive today to sit under my streamer, should be interesting.

Stack feet are under everything as well here. I just got a pair of Stack AUVA SW “beta” footers for evaluation. I am going to get them to a forum member that has a quality sub and system. More later.

I’m keen to hear more about the new Stack Audio subwoofer footers.
Can you post a photo of one and what your impressions are, after testing?

Also happily using 4 sets of Auvas EQ. Preferred them to stillpoints, Herbie’s, is acoustic, etc. I’m going out on a limb and trying a set of Carbide Micro bases (sapphire) so see how they compare to the Auvas EQ on digital.

As requested, here is a photo of the AUVA SW. You won’t see them on their site for a couple weeks as they are making US fulfillment and duty arrangements.

Thanks for posting the photo.
Looks like they could certainly be used under my Rel Carbon Specials, which have a semi circular support that runs around both sides.
StackAudio mentioned a few weeks ago that their US fulfillment center would be up and running soon (I assume that eases shipping and duty complications). Do you happen to know if that has happened yet? I’ve been holding off on some Auva 70’s.
They told me 1 to 2 weeks to be up and running as stated before. I have no additional information and would suggest you inquire or monitor their website.

Any reviews of the Stack Audio SW footers yet from the testers?
I expect to hand off a set to a forum member next week. How heavy is your sub(s)? I have #4 SW’s, which are for 75-90lbs.
