No it does not. Our deal with musicians is simple. When we make money, you make money. Octave Radio is free. Hopefully it results in grteater exposure for Octave Artists and therefore increased sales. Maybe.
I already told you what I Googled. Take a look if you are actually interested. As you recall, I also asked that you please share your obvious, perfect Google search after you berated me for not Googling for the answer.
Yes, as I already acknowledged, the latest version of Windows supports AAC and has done so for a good bit over a year now.
But this leaves many Windiws users without support, making the format a poor choice for streaming if you want all users to have easy access to your music.
It is however a fine choice for Apple OS and iThings.
So - Octave Radio.
I’ve been listening on and off for a few days.
Even with crappy old MP3 it sounds pretty nice.
Little of the music has been particularly ear grabbing, but there has been a lot of nice background music.
What it has done, is give me a much better idea of the music available on octave records, which previously I c bothered with much, partly due to the cost, for what I suspected was not really my thing.
…and I was correct
Still, as said, pretty good background music and good to hear finally in some depth what octave records have been up to.
Oh, and no adverts! (This is essential, I do not do adverts).
Lumin app does not list it in their radio stations list. To add radio stations, I need to download TuneIn app to ipad. I did that but I was not able to find it during the search yet.
Thanks @Paul for bringing the Octave Internet radio into being - Great also that it’s available via Airable! I’ve been enjoying the music this morning.
Is there a schedule of airtimes? Not necessarily programs or hosts (though that would be nice), but just hours of the day when it’s broadcasting and when it’s not?
