Has anyone installed an aftermarket outlet in a P20 and/or a P12 ? I 'm concerned whether or not there is enough space for an Oyaide or similar outlet, hopefully without major surgery.
I did this for a UP200 years ago and it barely fit. In this case the power ports in the UP200 were smaller (ears trimmed) than the ones you would buy separately.
I don’t believe those are standard outlets on the back of the P20. I believe they are individual outlets soldered to a circuit board. I don’t believe aftermarket or even PS Audio Outlets can be used. I hope to be wrong about this but I am comfortably certain I am not.
They are not really amenable to being replaced.
Okay, thanks for the info. That is what I suspected. I asked because I heard that someone had done this.
