P15 Screen Issues

Thanks Paul, I appreciate your support. Indeed this should not happen especially with a brand new product just unpacked; What is a bit frustrating is that this was a replacement - brand new - of a Demo product - same model - which I decided to replace since feet were damaged, most probably being the Unit moved from one spot to another one in the Shop; well then I said, no way, rubber feet gone, I will even pay more than a Demo product, and that was what happened. We all are human beings, we make mistakes, and equipment are equipment, even top quality equipment; I am in touch with the Dealer from Italy, apparently the Distributor in Italy has no P15 Unit available at the moment for replacement; We shall make it Paul; thanks also for spending a few words with the Distributor in my Country, this will help; I am an audiophile, and listening music in the right way is very important for me, reason why I opted for PS Audio, after Pass Labs, Transparent Audio, Music Hall, Nordost, etc. It’s all about quality, and I will not make any compromise with that. Thanks again Paul for understanding my emotional speech.

Sir, I do accept your excuses, we all love Music and reason why we are here proves that. It was a bad day for me , you can understand, being this Unit a Replacement - Brand new - see my above post, but again we are human beings and we are not perfect… Forget my comments, we all are on the same musical Boat…

@horace66 I will mark the start of our new friendship with some Italian music—probably Vivaldi, and while enjoying a great Italian wine, maybe a Vermentino from Tuscany.

Oh gosh, of course! Nothing makes me more upset than to have my new product not perform right! It sucks. I’ll reach out to MPI through our export manager and see if they can’t help. The guys at MPI are wonderful. Ciao!

Thanks Paul, I am sure if MPI have a spare one in stock - Silver like all my equipment - they will replace it immediately; my Hifi Shop in Italy has been informed accordingly; They will also push such a replacement. but definitely your action will help out for sure; as you know a happy end-user/lover will be the best contributor to the cause, to any Company’s success , and what counts the most is a happy End to leave all bad memories behind. Hi Jamesh, I checked with Scott from PS Audio Team the day before yesterday, we tried to download Firmware - the latest - but still the screen not responding, well a bit of backlight is visible in the screen when I press the remore control on and off, nothing more, I will opt for returning the Unit to the Dealer. The Unit is running but in what conditions nobody can see that since the screen is not operational at all.

Hi Jamesh, for sure I will; I am waiting for replacement as soon as the Italian Distributor has a new Unit available; I am very stubborn, I wanna get P15 and I will, no matter how long I need to wait for it. I am convinced that this was an incident, I just picked the wrong one, the next one will be troublefree for sure. Now guys make sure that the new Unit will make me smile again. Rgds. Orazio

Hi Jamesh, sure I will love it as soon as the local Distributor has one spare in Silver, which is not the case so far; I trust that PS Audio will deliver more Units to the Distributor in my Country soon, till that moment I will have to live with a Unit and its faulty Screen… So on /off operation only. Thanks

I would have thought if you bought a dud unit then they are duty bound to replace it.
/ fix it under guarantee. The fact they don’t have any is their problem, not yours.
