We had a line of strong thunderstorms roll through yesterday, which killed the utility power in an erratic way. Up down 3 time within 1-2 minutes, which caused my whole house generator to provide electricity erratically.
The P15 was not happy! By the time I got to it, -20 minutes later, it was off. I cycled the rear switch, waited 2 clicks, hit the standby; success for 20 seconds. This process was repeated multiple times; 5 in total. Each time success lasted longer. The last attempt lasted 35 minutes before shutting down.
I decided to keep the system off overnight, which appears to have resolved the problem. Previously a single reboot process did the trick.
Has anyone experienced this type of failure mode/solution.
My apologies for the rambling.
Thx in advance,
George
