When my JC5 first arrived I plugged it straight to
wall socket to “form up” the power caps on first
power up and let them charge up the first few
power on power off cycles…Yes I did listen to the
JC5 while strait to wall…sounded good…So after
a few on off cycles 2-3 days…unplugged from wall
and straight into P15…The deflection on the P15’s
power meter swung all the way over… P15 tripped off…
recycled P15 and recover…from then on the JC5 has
tripped off the P15 once in a great while…
Perhaps if I had left JC5 run a few more days straight
to wall P15 might not have tripped off on first go round
with JC5.
Now a little over a year the JC5 seldom trips the P15.
Soundwise …JC5 will remain plugged into P15…sound
is much better that way…for me.
