I took an interesting winter photo a couple of weeks ago. The roofline of my house was casting a shadow on the roof of my neighbor’s shed. Where the sun reached the roof, the snow was gone, and where the shadow was cast, the snow still survived. I thought it was pretty cool. Also taken with a cell phone.
Not a chance I’m going in either of those buildings, lol They mess with me in a couple different ways.
Some really good ones in there.
There’s no snow in the photo
A great collection of shots.
Great eye…

Out my window yesterday…
Lunar eclipse taken around 3:00 AM!
Equipment and processing:
Nikon Z7ii with 400mm tele and 2x teleconverter.
Lightroom AI noise reduction and more tweaking.
Exposure:
ISO 6400, -0.7ev, f11, 1.0s
Very similar to the above image with 0.5s exposure. A bit sharper I think. Really surprised with such a long exposure given how fast the moon is moving.
Very Nice!
Very cool!
Great photo!
Well done!
Very nice indeed. Please share your exposure and any post processing if applicable.
Thanks.
This type of photography is kinda new to me, so I played around with my settings.
Fujifilm 100S with Nikon 500mm.
Exposures were around 1-3 seconds, wide open at F5.6, ISO 800-1600.
LR and PS post adjustments.
Noise reduction/sharpen.
Thanks!
Amazing that a dusty asteroid pitted ball can reflect so much light.
Amazing. Nicely done!
