My driveway was covered too. Wind took 1/2 the leaves down

Well, we didn’t have that much wind. And there are still plenty of leaves! But won’t be long it will be the depressing winter of bare leaves. I actually welcome snow because it beautifies the trees and takes away the gray gloominess.

WOW! The Village Voice. That was a great local paper for those times.
I didn’t know that ‘The Five Spot’ was still going in '67.

The Five Spot Café was a jazz club located at 5 Cooper Square (1956–1962) in the Bowery neighborhood of New York City, between the East and West Village. In 1962, it moved to 2 St. Marks Place until closing in 1967

Less than one year later, The Fillmore East opened, literally down the block from the first location.
