I am going to order the SACD. Frankly, Most SACD sounded the best in PST than any other DSD files I have, it sounds better than any DSD256 playing through my new server, I think.

I know you are going to tell me to get a better server, but I can happily live with my Summus 2 for a while, as long as I also have PST :grin:

It’s a hybrid SACD so you’ll be able to rip the Redbook layer easily and the DSD layer less easily.

I’m confused. If I order the SACD, can I still play it on my Blu-ray and get the 5.1 surround? Or do I just get the Blu-ray version for that?

It says Hybrid so you can play it on your CD player or regular Bluray. But heck stream the hi res with your subscription to Tidal or Qobuz if you have one.

Some of the hi-re streaming sounds so good, and bettered CDs for sure, unless you have Gryphon Ethos level CD players.

But SACD is a different matter.

I am listening to and enjoying my lesser, Euphony PTS server. (Cabin system)
I am a Euphony fanboy. When version 4 is released soon I will install it on my Pink Faun.

If you listen to Pink Floyd through a Pink Faun you will leverage Pink Synergy. It is also enhanced by a Victoria’s Secret tshirt. FYI, this does not apply to Punk Floyd.
