Playlist Cover Art Stopped Uploading?

Discogs lookup works, but uploading an image of your own doesn’t.

+1

My images are working. It is just taking longer than it did in the past

Uploading custom data in the playlist should be working again now. Sorry about that!

Would it be possible to fix the Discogs lookup function, please? It has died again. Thanks!

Thanks for identifying that PB! Should be good to go now. Don’t forget to refresh after selecting the disc so that the playlist is displayed with the correct data.

My Playlist stop recording what I was playing half way my marathon session yesterday and that seems to be the case last week too. I am wondering whether there is a server maintenance schedule at Paul’s end Saturday morning US time or something wrong with the server.

My DMP still only occassionally connects with my playlist…and hasn’t found track info nor cover art for a week plus now. When it occassionally acknowledges a played disc It cannot resolve tracks nor covers even for discs that are already in my playlist. My DMP reports “Internet OK and SDCard OK”
All connectivity at my end has worked reliably in the past and has been reconfirmed, replugged, and rebooted.
The above leads me to accuse the PSA playlist server and/or its service sources.

I just had a thought…my new issues with my playlist may be coincident with my DMP software change to 2.08…any clues there?
Meanwhile I’m still enjoying the best reproduction of my CDs and SACDs I could hope for.
So what’s an online playlist worth anyway…?

It is working now. I have similar problems before 2.08 so I do not think it is connected.

My playlist is still not working…as of last night.

I’ve had nothing since March 2nd on my PWT

sorry just check my old cd’s and art was displayed but cant get anything new to update or display in playlist.

Yup, playlist not updating nor is it accepting pictures for covers - hope someone from PS Audio looks at it soon.

I added a couple of covers moments ago, Everything is working fine. I just needed to refresh the page to see the new cover art.

Hi amisty! Sorry to hear that you’re having trouble with your playlist. Most of the time when we hear “it hasn’t worked since x date” it’s because of a network issue. The most effective troubleshooting step is to ensure that your PWT has a good internet connection. If you’re still experiencing problems after that, or need some assistance, we’re happy to help. Just contact support and we’ll take care of you!

Hi again,
@Elk - I’ve just logged back on and agree that the cover art upload I tried last night does appear to have worked - that is good.
However the Playlist didn’t updae - I played a new album last night and it hasn’t shown up on my playlist - the internet connection with the DMP was working so I still believe that the system isn’t 100%.

That’s quite odd. My playlist updated immediately this morning when I was testing it before adding a couple of missing covers.

It may be time to contact support as Kevin suggests.

Bother.

I find my DMP cover art display in My PS Playlist fails to display redbook or SACD reliably if at all.

After not updating albums playing for several weeks, it sprang back into life three days ago, but since then has failed to update.

I believe the network connection is good; I can ping the DMP, so feel there probably is a fault somewhere else.

There is still work to be done in DMP to get that reliable for regular CDs. SACD covers may well never work because there was never a library of them available that related to their ID numbers.
