Works now. Thank you to whoever prodded the AWS server.

Over the last 2 evenings my DMP hasnāt shown any artwork. I checked my Playlist and found that the list had updated that the discs had been played but that 2 albums in the playlist had ālostā their artwork and one album had disappeared (Iāve listened to it before).
I updated the Playlist and replayed one album again but with the same result - no artwork.
The DMP unit displays internet ok. Was there some server work/update running over the last few days?
Same problem: dmp shows internet ok and sd card ok, but when I load a cd, after Ā« reading Ā« , it does not even try to download anything anymore. A power cycle or reformatting of the sd card usually fixes it, but not for very long ā¦
My artwork was working flawlessly for several weeks until the afternoon of December 22. Could it be that something is amiss with the PSA server. If so it probably will be corrected today once everyone returns to work after a well deserved week off.
My playlist has not worked since 3rd December. The router sees the DMP and the DMP says its is connection to the internet.

It appears that there are two separate issues being reported, both relating to album artwork:
Album artwork isnāt downloading properly on the Playlist (www.psaudio.com > My PS > Playlist), but playlist entries are being created correctly otherwise.
Album artwork isnāt displaying properly on the DMP itself when a track is played.
We havenāt been messing with the artwork system recently, so weāll take a look under the hood and see whatās going on. Iāll report here with updates; you can follow this thread by clicking the Subscribe button in the footer of this page.
Guysā¦I think we just need to wait until the new DMP software is released. Just chasing our tails around and around in circles with a software that will soon be deprecated. We can report all these various gremlins but at this late stage with the core code being rewritten probably just better to accept things the way they are for the time being. Start fresh when the new software is released. The concept of spinning physical discs is just something I donāt comprehend any more. Streaming from a limitless source of content is the new audio King at my place. It just works, with no distracting surprises.

And an interesting use of ādeprecated.ā (Not being critical, I enjoy language).

It appears that there are some performance issues between our server and MusicBrainz, a service we use to retrieve album information on both our website (the Playlist functionality) and to display album art on the DMP. Weāre looking into it and will keep you posted with updates as we have them.
@kevin Briggs - thank you for your comments and notice that PS Audio is looking at reported issues. Iāll subscribe to this thread as you suggest.
Hi Brodricj - I donāt stream so my requirements are different from yours. If PS Audio find something amiss that they can fix without waiting for the DMP upgrade I will be very happy.
My experience this morning was as follows.
Loaded an SACD into the DMP for the first time. It downloaded only one song title and the artist name (no disc name). DPM showed DSP and DSD showed Input DSD, Rate DSD64, 1 bit.
Pressed Play while I went to my Playlist and did a lookup by barcode. I corrected one song title that had been truncated, added song times and Shared the resulted. I uploaded a better cover pic. I also had to fix the time zone. I let the whole disc Play.
I ejected the disc and reloaded it twice trying to get it to download the updated track list and cover art. It acted like no change had been made. I removed the disc and power cycled it from the back AC switch. Then when I loaded the disc again, it downloaded the updated track list and cover art.
Why does it take 20+ seconds to download a track list and cover art that are already in your Playlist? This is such a small amount of data, it should only take a couple of seconds tops. I have a 60 Megabit connection and my Router and all switches on my network are Gigabit.
BTW: What does Clear SS followed by a Red X under Setup > Edit mean? In another topic, someone speculated that it means to clear the SD card cover art and track list data, but there was never a response from anyone at PS Audio confirming what it really does. I would hate to accidentally wipe out the SD card data that I have taken so much time to Edit in my Playlist to get it filled in when there seem to be so many problems with getting Playlist information to download.
Weāve been having issues with connecting and getting data from the Discogs site where we gather the info. Weāre working on the problem. Sorry for the long wait and delay. Once fixed it should be faster, but not by much. Itās not your connection but the slow communication path available to us on the display.
Elk saidIn the 4 or 5 days that my DSJ was used as a Spotify Connect agent it worked in that role flawlessly. The new Esoteric has taken over from DSJ in the Spotify Connect role and it too works flawlessly. DSJ and DMP now retired to deprecated hardware status in my home. Not if one reads all the threads on streaming.
It is good to hear of a streaming success.

We disabled the playlist while we were troubleshooting some website issues (unrelated to the playlist) which have since been resolved. You should now see your playlist on the website.
Great! It even remembers what I played while it was disabled!
I am unable to upload cover art. This never happened before. Allelse is fine
